The table was also written as "zhuo" in ancient times, carrying the meaning of being tall and upright. It is a piece of furniture with a tabletop in various shapes such as square, rectangular, and round, and with legs and feet below. Table-type furniture has both practical and ornamental value, and was also relatively common in ancient room furnishings. From ancient paintings of the Ming and Qing dynasties, it can be seen that they were used for a very wide range of purposes—both practical and capable of highlighting taste. Specifically, in studios, rooms, halls, and chambers, there are detailed descriptions of them.
